In 2019, I had the opportunity to work with Giant Spoon, ColorCreative, and Synchrony Bank to design the end credits sequence for their brand film “Pay Day”. The sequence’s graphic style was inspired by the film’s overall mod set dressing with bright pops of color and plenty of monstera leaves. I drew influence from the economy of style Saul Bass employed in movie titles from the same era. However, I used excessive repetition to reflect the cyclical nature of the film’s plot. In addition to the end credits sequence, I was also responsible for creating several of the special effects for the film in post. You can watch the entire feature here.
