In 2021, I was asked by The Band of Sisters to create a suite of illustrations for their upcoming book ‘You Should Smile More’. From small indignities to unconscious slights, women experience situations at work every day that may seem small or unimportant, but that effectively differentiate and exclude them. The small, awkward, or uncomfortable moments that slow-build until the unwelcome environment takes hold and women disengage. I captured these moments in a familiar, corporate style that flips the normal jovial subject matter on its head. You can check out the book here.
